If you are a car park operator and you have a commercial relationship with Parclick, you may have noticed that in Google Maps and Google Business Profile there is an ‘Online booking’ button that links to a Parclick landing page. Below, we explain why this is happening and how you can request its removal if you consider it necessary.
Why does the ‘Book online’ button appear on Google Maps and Google My Business?
Parclick collaborates with Google through an integration programme that allows available car parks to be displayed directly on platforms such as Google Maps, Google Search and Google Business Profile. This additional visibility makes it easier for thousands of drivers to find and book parking spaces quickly and easily.
This ‘Book online’ button is only displayed in car parks with which Parclick has an active contractual relationship. If you work with us as a partner, your car park may be appearing on these platforms as part of this integration agreement.
How do I request that my car park no longer appears?
If you want the booking button to stop appearing on your car park's Google Maps page, you can easily request it by filling in the following online form: Request removal from Google Maps
